After a long, long time, the cause of the infinitely accumulating damage and instakill bug has been found!
With that out of the way, I can finally get some QA from among my friends and family! And to celebrate, Elemagi Duel will be free until the release of the campaign!

Additions

  • None

Tweaks

  • Orbs now measure collisions based on [own radius] + [other radius] instead of "colliding" with anything withing 0.6 tiles.
    • Normal orbs have 0.45 radius.
    • Mega orbs have 0.90 radius.

Fixes

  • Supporting orbs (orbs that are part of an attack) are now properly deleted if they are for some reason also marked as attacking and/or wall.
    • Previously, supporting orbs that were flagged both supporting and either attacking or wall would be immune to deletion if the primary orb in the attack was deleted without removing all of its supporters.
    • Orbs that are immune to being deleted still accumulate exponentially increasing damage every frame, but no pair of orbs should be allowed to be in contact for more than one frame anyway.
    • These orbs would have gone onto the endzone to deliver billions of damage to the poor sap on the receiving end of the bug, this no longer occurs.
  • Color mode reverted to gamma (back from linear) to match the artist's original orb designs better.

Engine

  • The primary target is now linux machines, as the development has wholly shifted to linux stations. Both Windows and Linux are supported.
